SASHA!
--------------------------------------------
Sasha was found as a stray a week ago today- this small kennel you can see has been her home for one week after being dumped onto the streets to survive on her own. Sasha is a beautifully black and tan printed small SBT aged 2 years old. No issues in the kennels with other dogs, the staff believes she is house trained as she patiently waits to be taken on a walk as the holding kennels as no outdoor runs for the dogs. The only current issue I am determined to battle through is her nerves of females. Possible history of neglect with females is our current thought.
SHADOW
--------------------------------------------
This week we have the arrival of our 3 Year old X Breed via our Private Re-home scheme. Due to a family break up Shadow is looking for a new home. Shadow is a medium/large cross breed, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and also castrated. Having only been with us a few days it is understandable Shadow is spending a majority of his time shaking in his bed- his whole world has been turned upside down perhaps never been in a kennel environment before or away from his owners. He does not venture to his outdoor kennel yet as he is scared of the unknown so assessments still pending. Yesterday we managed to get him out on a walk which taught us why his named is Shadow- he follows us around just like a Shadow! Needing someone with perhaps a calm approach to life and has a relaxing home life.
ECHO
--------------------------------------------
ECHO! This beautiful young lady has entered the doors of our rescue in search of a home after coming to us via our private re-home scheme. Her previous home life has been somewhat hectic, chaotic with no real stability leaving ECHO quite a timid reserved lady. Being in our kennels a few days ago with regular faces and routine, today she has begun to show us her friendly sociable affectionate personality. Echo is two years old, vaccinated and neutered. Needing someone perhaps with Doberman experience and willing to allow a troubled young girl the chance to have a happy ending
BEAUTIFUL CASSIE
--------------------------------------------
This beauty, the most usual SBT I have seen has entered our doors in search of a new home through no fault of her own. Cassie is her name and she is a friendly tiny blue SBT that has lived with animals and children before. Cassie is fully vaccinated and micro-chipped and is 3 years old. Meeting Cassie I was soaked in wet kisses and welcomed by her beautifully. Cassie is house trained and is a well mannered beautiful sociable lady. These pictures do not do her justice seeing her for the first time I poked her to see if she was real! Cassie has lived with people from all generations and with regret they have decided to find her a new stable home. CAN YOU HELP?
BENJI!!
--------------------------------------------
After waiting in the holding kennels for over a week after being dumped onto the streets of Burton, is this delight......Benji! Benji has had a previous ruff week waiting in the hope his owners claimed him back but yesterday he finally came to terms with the fact it is not going to happen, he has been abandoned and he needs to move on. Walking into Dun Roamin kennels Benji slumped onto his new kennel floor and let out a sign :(. This chap is clearly depressed. Benji is a 5 year old x breed and perhaps looks like a small German Shepherd. Certainly no issues travelling in the van very co operative and sadly very trusting of people that has only recently done the dirty on him by abandoning him. Been kennelled next door with other dogs and currently without issue. Easy dog to walk so why has he been dumped? And why is it the dog always suffers?
LOLA :)
--------------------------------------------
The biggest betrayal is to have a dog come into our care like Lola. A house-trained sociable delight that is co-operative in every way yet found as a stray recently. Lola we know is a English Bull Terrier and is 3 years old. She is very small for her breed perhaps same size as a small SBT. Impeccable manners and easily handled. Will do anything for a loving hug and food! What a tiny sweetheart she is lets hope she finds her home before Christmas.
SWEET SWEET ANDY
--------------------------------------------
Coming to us a three old unclaimed stray from Tamworth is this small ( small for his breed) timid young man named Andy. No issues travelling in the van, walked into dun roamin shy but accepting. Very gentle with food and housed next door to other dogs without issue. Spent time in his kennel sitting on his bed and he curled up on my lap and let out such a huge sigh. and I left him slowly falling asleep. What a sweet sweet gentle soul, took me less than 30 seconds to fall in love and take him under my wing. Looking for an extra loving home for this sweet boy- love him
BOYCIE!
--------------------------------------------
Coming to us after a physical and emotional neglected past is this beautiful American Bulldog X 4 year old. Boycie has developed his confidence with us and is a main comical character with us! As you can see coming from his neglected past full of hurt and disappointment Boycie has hope in his eyes. Hope for a better future and the willing to forgive. His physical scars have now healed leaving behind a shattered heart- Boycie is a CASTRATED and FULLY VACCINATED American Bulldog X
